イースター 2011

しかし彼はわれわれのとがのために傷つけられ、われわれの不義のために砕かれたのだ。彼はみずから懲らしめをうけて、我々に平安を与え、その打たれた傷によって、われわれはいやされたのだ。
イザヤ５３：５
今年もイースターがやってきました。まだクリスチャンになる前の私はイースターと言うと、春、エッグハント、ウサギ、イースターピクニックって言うキーワードとイメージでした。
昔日本のどこかのお店でショッピングしている二人組の人が・・・　「ねえ、イースターってなぁに？」「謝肉祭の事よ！」って、きっぱりと言っているのが耳にはいりました。
そりゃ〜いくらイースターの日にアメリカではハムを食べる家庭が多いからって、そりゃないでしょう。「イエス・キリストの復活祭」と言ったほうが、何の日をお祝いしているのかよく分かりますよね。
私はこの季節になると、冒頭にあげた旧約聖書のイザヤ書５３章を読む事にしています。キリスト教徒にとっては、クリスマスよりも大切なイースター。世界中の教会によって大切に語り継がれ、多くの教会で毎週読み上げられている使途信条に書かれているのは、まさに２０００年前の復活祭に起ったこの事実なのです。
作家の遠藤周作さんがテーマにしているのが、このイザヤ５３章の姿のイエス・キリスト像でした。神様の姿が、「彼にはわれわれの見るべき姿がなく、威厳もなく、われわれの慕うべき美しさもない。」と言われているなんて、信じられます？
しかし、この身代わりのイエスキリスト様の上に私の今の平安があるとしたら、本当にありがたくて、ありがたくて、神様のわれわれ人類に対する愛というのが、人間の愛とはかけ離れたすごいものだと改めて考えさせられます。
この日曜日、私たちの教会では1万5000人規模のイースターサービスがありますが、その日の会衆賛美（プレイズ）はすごいですよ。なにしろこの人数の人が一斉に大合唱（賛美）するのですから！！　この尽きぬ感謝の思いを皆さんとご一緒に神様を賛美し、イエス・キリスト様の十字架の御技にお応えしたいと思います。
余談ですが、今年はイースターと私の誕生日が一緒の日になり、ダブルでめでたい日となりました。

There will be amazing programs for children from birth to 5th grade. A professional interpreter for the Deaf will be at the 10:30am service and spanish interpretation at the 8:30 & 10:30am services. Also if you are tired of driving, why not take your horse. This year we added a horse staging area with tie ups and water for your convenience. There will be trained teams to host your horses.
Instead of being a part of Easter this year come experience it at Easter at Porter Ranch sponsored by Shepherd of the Hills Church.
LOCATION
Easter this year will be on the Northwest corner of Porter Ranch Drive and Rinaldi Street, set in an open meadow provided by Porter Ranch Development Company and under a 50,000 square foot tent structure.
CHILDREN
Just as in years past, Shepherd’s children’s programs will be inside the main sanctuary. Shepherd provides a place for kids to have a great time with exciting programs that have been planned specifically for infants – 5th grade. All of our programs are staffed by trained and pre-screened workers.
PARKING
Parking on the Shepherd lot is available for parents with children only. There will be ample parking at the Porter Ranch Town Center and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Shuttles will begin running at 6:30am and continue throughout the event. You can see the shuttle stops along with the parking areas on the map to th right.

EQUESTRIANS
This year you can ride your horse to church. We’ll have a horse staging area with tie ups and water for your convenience. There will be trained teams to host your horses. Both Ride with Pride and Special Spirit Therapeutic will be volunteering as hosts at both services. View the map to the right to see where you can park your trailer and ride your horse to the event.
DEAF & SPANISH
There will be a professional interpreter for the Deaf at the 10:30am service and spanish interpretation at the 8:30 & 10:30am services.
